Brief info

Born and raised just outside of Nashville, Stephanie Jones brings over 25 years of culinary experience to her role at The Lodge at Natchez Trace.

Her passion for cooking began at home, from learning heart healthy and low sugar options for family members, to apprenticing with her aunt to become a cake decorator, food and family have always been the foundation she built upon.

She worked at the Opryland Hotel for 18 years and has helped to lead kitchens within multiple restaurants, pastry and banquet departments. She assisted with the opening of the indoor/outdoor water park Soundwaves, helped reopen the hotel after the 2010 flood, and many of her recipes are still in use today throughout the hotel.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Stephanie transitioned into senior living, rediscovering a passion for serving communities where food is not just nourishment but a meaningful part of daily life.

Stephanie is married with three children, two dogs, a cat, and a lizard at home. If her family isn't camping, attending events, or at the movies you can find her curled up in the corner or garden, with a book nearby.
